Over 80% of travellers use mobile apps to travel. The GO Farmstay app is designed to increase target audience interactivity and promote GOR agritourism, connecting them with local communities. As agritourism becomes more popular, tourist numbers visiting the region will spread between major coastal areas and farming areas. This proposal will help to reduce overtourism in crowded locations and bring positive benefits to local communities and the natural environment.

The GO Backroad Traveller app is a platform to share information and motivate travellers to explore lesser-known areas of the Great Ocean Road. The app provides assistance to tourists who are keen to explore, experience and engage with the local region, its communities and surrounding environment. The proposal highlights the best regional features, while easing overtourism in the region by dispersing visitors across attractions.
